Woody Winfree, co-author of the critically acclaimed book I AM BEAUTIFUL: A Celebration of Women, is the keynote speaker for the 2007 Women of Distinction gala. Winfree is the founder of the I AM BEAUTIFUL® Project, an outreach initiative committed to producing creative and educational works that encourage personal discovery and growth for women of all ages.

Winfree has been featured in numerous magazines, newspapers, and television programs, including guest appearances on Oprah, The Ananda Lewis Show, and Lifetime Television. Her I Am Beautiful® workshops and seminars have been presented on college and university campuses nationwide, at corporate retreats, five-star health spas, and other venues.
Winfree is a former magazine editor and publisher with over 20 years of experience in the communications and advertising fields. Her direct experience with the power of the mass media combined with years of research, reflection and exchange with thousands of women gives her a unique and valuable understanding of modern self-esteem issues -- and the empowering results of self-acceptance. She is also a non-denominational minister, trained by and an instructor at the Celebrant Foundation USA, New Jersey
