• Your daughter’s annual membership fee goes directly to Girl Scouts of the USA to cover activity insurance and national program development and is not retained for local programs.
• Family Partnership is an opportunity for families and friends of our 12-county council to directly support those programs that benefit our girls.
• Maintaining membership and program expansion costs more than United Way or product sales (cookies and nuts) can provide. We subsidize $240 per girl per year, through programs like Family Partnership, to maintain quality program levels, leader training, facilities and materials.
• When we reach out to local corporations, foundations, civic groups and others to help fill this funding gap, strong participation in Family Partnership helps to influence these donors
• Your Family Partnership gift demonstrates your strong commitment and support of all girls who wish to experience Girl Scouting.
