Career Opportunities
Membership Specialist
Develop, retain, and increase girl and adult membership in assigned geographic areas. The incumbent will identify, recruit, train, and provide ongoing support to administrative volunteers enabling them to extend Girl Scouting in those areas. Qualifications include above average oral and written skills, ability to lift 25-30 pounds, good human relations skills, a bachelor's degree and valid drivers license a must. Knowledge of adult education, volunteer development or Girl Scout experience required. Summer Program Job Opportunities
Summer program experiences create a supportive and caring community where girls can reach their full potential by actively participating in a variety of program opportunities. In doing this, girls will try activities they have never done before, learn new skills and improve those they already have. They will support each other, build lifelong friendships and feel free to be themselves. They will be accepted and appreciated for who they are.
Internships and Service Learning
In conjunction with Indiana University and Ivy Tech State College a number of internship and service learning opportunities are available to matriculating students. These opportunities help build skills and provide training that may be used in future employment situations.
